![]() I spent all this time sketching it out, then fine-tuning the look & style of the drawing in Photoshop – I felt all next level.Īnyway, after about 5-6 hours, I realized I hated it.īut I’d reached the agreed deadline, so I had to send this piece of trash drawing that I was in way over my head doing by hand because what made me think I had the skill level to pull this off because, “I can’t draw that well anyway,” so how could I have been so stupid & waste so much time, then to top it off, they didn’t respond with feedback until the following evening … I started sourcing inspiration, got in the creative flow state, & my just went, “hey, why not try something new?” I designed this logo for a client the other day. ![]() When my took over & began designing that logo, they knew I was capable & they knew I was enough. They trusted my ability … completely.īecause grew up comparing myself to everything & everybody. So, it’s better to downplay any talents thought had … And if wasn’t as good as them, wasn’t good at all. I’m proud of the hard work I’ve put into every aspect of my creative ability & I wanna trust myself like my does. ![]() This world makes us think we’re so much less than we actually are. And each & every one of us is entirely too talented to be selling ourselves short.
